a low waste store for your zero waste intentions
Established in October 2019, we are San Fernando Valley's first refill shop! Our sustainable business began with a mission to divert 1 million single use bottles from the waste and recycling streams. We started in three weekend Farmer's Markets (Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and Pacific Palisades) before the global pandemic made us close our booths and forced us to open a store sooner than we expected.
We opened a 100sq foot store (aka the world's smallest refill store) in June 2020... But in July 2021, we relocated to a larger, beautiful location in the historic French Quarter of Woodland Hills, within a half mile from any grocery store and steps from The Valley Country Market.
Our mission at prostainable is to make you feel as good as we do about living in a sustainable home. We believe the best and first step is to ensure that our homes and communities are positively impacting the world by reducing daily waste.
